As an avid walker living in Washington DC, a city that is ripe for explorations on foot, comfortable footwear generally serves as the fundamental building block of my daily outfits. While sneakers have been a consistent staple footwear across time and culture, recent trends such as Normcore and Athleisure have brought sports shoes back into the fashion consciousness. Recently, I had an opportunity to try out some sneakers from ECCO, a Danish shoe company that strives to "make shoes that [do] not need to be broken in". To celebrate the launch of ECCO's second INTRINSIC collection, I took a few pairs out for a test drive, fully embracing the concept of athletic living in my usual color-blocked glory of course!
